Private sessions are the perfect way to address your unique needs and questions, to create a custom home practice, and to empower you with the self knowledge to take group classes with confidence.
Private sessions are individually crafted to meet any student exactly where you are and to progress towards your unique goals.
Ilana has experience with a variety of individuals and groups, from those looking to heal and thrive in a context of pelvic floor dysfunction, hypermobility, or chronic illness, to those looking for guidance into advanced postures , to group celebrations and more. She loves the opportunity to connect to the unique person or group and create tailored and supportive sessions.
Ilana draws from her extensive knowledge of the body and over 12 years of teaching customized private and group classes to offer an experience of being truly seen and supported with curiosity and without judgement.

Pelvic Floor Yoga
Stabilize, soften, and reconnect from the inside out.
Integrative movement for pelvic floor awareness, core stability, and whole-body ease. This 75-minute breath-led yoga practice combines functional movement, somatics, core and glute activation, hip mobility work, and restorative poses to support pelvic floor health. We’ll practice postural alignment, build strength without strain, and cultivate the capacity to soften and reset, supporting sustainable stability from within.
This class is most impactful for those who have explored the Inner Foundation Series or already feel confident connecting with their pelvic floor through both engagement and release. What’s the difference between the Inner Foundation Workshop Series and the Pelvic Floor Yoga classes?
The Inner Foundation Series is a slower, more educational workshop designed to help you truly understand how your pelvic floor works. We explore anatomy, breath coordination, engagement and release, and take time to integrate this learning through movement and reflection.
Pelvic Floor Yoga is a guided movement class that builds on this foundation through functional strengthening, hip and core work, mobility, and relaxation. While prior experience from the Inner Foundation Series is helpful, you’re always welcome to reach out if you’re new and curious—Ilana is happy to help you decide which offering is the best fit for you.
Mighty Yoga classes are hybrid In-Person in (downtown Ithaca), and virtual on Zoom, and include a Later Play option
Mindful Flow
A smoothly-paced class which fosters a calm mind and deep body awareness. Classes will include an emphasis on breath and self discovery, so you can fine tune your practice to meet you where you are. Modifications and variations will be offered throughout the class, making these classes accessible for students of all levels. This class is accessible for beginners, and adds a new layer of challenge for more experienced yogis to dig into your practice - with a greater focus on alignment, breath, engagement, and expansion in each pose. You will leave feeling energized, restored and grounded.
Mighty Flow
Explore both the invigorating and surrendering aspects of yoga, blended into an eclectic and powerful flow. Coordinating breath with movement to build strength, open and release tight areas, and develop sensitivity your body's unique needs, so you can face the day from a place of balance, presence and empowerment. Variations are offered to meet all levels. Vinyasa classes at Mighty Yoga Ithaca are heated to 85 degrees.

What is Kripalu Yoga?
Kripalu yoga is a practice of compassionate non-judgmental self observation. It can look like anything from gentle stretching to advanced power yoga, and everything in between.
The invitation is to practice as a way of becoming more present and sensitive to your body’s individual messages and needs. You’re encouraged to meet yourself exactly where you are and to customize the experience for that very moment. A natural result is increased strength and flexibility of both body and mind.
The asanas (postures) and focus of each class can widely vary, but the essential message of compassion, self acceptance and love remains at the core.
