Like to meditate but doing it on your own isn't quite happening? Sitting with others can make it easier!

Come join weekly community meditations at Fine Spirit. No prior meditation experience is needed. You can choose to sit in a chair, or on floor seats/pillows/blankets; it's up to you!

Yes, this is only a 30 minute gathering....it's just the right amount of time to slip into a busy life, and yet it can help in so many ways. Please join us, and bring a friend; it's free!

January 21-22 Saturday & Sunday 9:30am - 6pm

Join Kripalu Yoga Instructors Ilana Berman and Nicole Stumpf for a 2-day exploration of Body Wisdom through Yoga, Conscious Communication, and Meditation. Discover how to “listen” to the wisdom of your body and to allow the guidance you receive to inspire the way you engage with yourself and others.

The weekend will include daily, gentle yoga classes which emphasize mindful movement, self-observation, and deep relaxation, exercises in conscious communication, and introduction to yogic perspectives on the "self" including the 3-stage approach of Kripalu Yoga, the Koshas, and strategies for compassionate, non-judgmental self-observation.

To support your practice in connecting to body wisdom two nourishing meals (breakfast and lunch), snacks, and herbal teas will be provided.

Kripalu yoga is the practice of radical, self-acceptance.  This 2 day workshop will offer experiences that explore the three stages of Kripalu Yoga: body and breath awareness, focusing inward, and meditation-in-motion. Through inquiry-based exploration, participants will learn how to be fully present in the moment to moment experience of being alive. These workshops are open to anyone who has a body!

In Part 2 of the workshop we will more deeply explore developing sensitivity to the body's unique needs and using meditation-in-motion to connect to our innate ability to surrender toward health, vitality and peace.
